Miley caught in racism controversy

Washington (ANI): Teen star Miley Cyrus is back in news, and this time, it's for all the wrong reasons pics of the 16-year-old have surfaced on net showing her poking fun at Asians. While last year's scantily-clad photos of the teen sensation caused outrage, this time round Cyrus and a group of male friends can be apparently seen pulling their eyes to mock Asians while one Asian-American sits among them.

And the picture, which hit the Internet recently has enraged the Asian-American community. Officials at advocacy group OCA are demanding an apology from Cyrus, reports Contactmusic. The group's executive director says, "Not only has Miley Cyrus and the other individuals in the photograph encouraged and legitimised the taunting and mocking of people of Asian descent, she has also insulted her many Asian Pacific American fans.

"We hope that Miley Cyrus will apologise to her fans and the APA community for this lapse in judgement and takes the opportunity to better understand why the gesture is offensive."

We really shouldn't expect much from her, given her racial background as a product of Achy Breaky trailer park mom and dad, very sad. She's practically retarded and we shouldn't place such standards of etiquette on white people. It's just not fair. They don't know better. It's just sad that about 700 million equally challenged children are going to be pulling their eyes back, not mocking anyone, mind you. Just kids being kids. Leave the poor retard alone!

She's 16...maybe the media shouldn't highlight every single picture of her and constantly criticize her acting her age. We don't know the context of the picture and it's likely she never intended it to be more than an inside joke with friends. Maybe children shouldn't be constantly examined by the entire country, even if they happen to sing and act. It's immature at worst, but she's a teen and should be treated as one.
