Jay-Z nixes Chris' plans to perform at BET Awards

New York (ANI): Rapper Jay-Z thrashed Chris Brown's hopes of returning on stage at the BET Awards, in a bid to pay tribute to late King of Pop Michael Jackson. Brown has been low-key since beating up his ex-girlfriend (and Jay-Z's artist), Rihanna, earlier this year.

Apparently, Brown was supposed to participate in the Jacko tribute at LA's Shrine Auditorium, but Jay-Z pulled the plug on the plans. "Jay-Z wasn't having it. He threatened to pull out of the show if Chris was involved, so BET dropped Chris," the New York Post quoted a source as saying.

A representative for Brown said: "That's not true -- he was never confirmed to perform." Brown was close to Jackson and performed 'Thriller' at the World Music Awards in 2006.

Jay-Z should be a shame of himself. People in this world look up to a nice gentleman like him. Things in life aren't perfect, God is the only one in this world that can judge Chris B. However, every relationship isn't perfect, and i bet niether is his. Their will be trials and trivilations that God may bring your way. Every one has complications. We will never know the truth behind what happened between them (even though it wasn't right for CB to do that). So I've got one thing to say to Jay-Z--- If it is true about you not performing at the BET Awards '09 just b/c Chris B was going to perform God don't like ugly and you are not the Lord JESUS CHRIST.

How can you be judgemental? Everyone have something in their life that each regret. If God would remind you of your wrongdoing constantly, you wouldn't be where you are.

Jay Z I know you are big and all but you are not GOD. You should not condem Chris Brown if Rihanna can forgive him and move on then you should not get in their business. You don't know he might have asked God to forgive him and might not ever do anything else like that again, and if he asked God to forgive him and if Riannah has forgiven him than that is the only two people that matters!
