London (ANI): Late King of Pop Michael Jackson believably at least two aliases, including the name of the American author Jack London, to obtain drugs. This has emerged as investigators from the US Drug Enforcement Agency have been called in to by the Los Angeles Police Department to probe into how the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker was able to obtain a cocktail of drugs found at his rented home.

If reports are to be believed, London’s novel ‘The Call of the Wild’ is thought to have been one of Jackson's favourite books. The book’s story revolves around a domesticated dog who returns to the wild in Canada's Yukon Territory in the 19th Century.

Jackson is also believed to have used the alias Arnold Omar, as well as the names of members of his staff, when getting his drugs. The singer’s body is believed to have had a series of injection marks on it. Federal officers from the DEA will help investigate Jackson's use of painkillers and sedatives, including Demerol.

"We routinely offer assistance to any agency regarding the Federal Controlled Substance Act," the Telegraph quoted a DEA spokesman as saying.
