Chris Brown's first performance after Rihanna row

London, (ANI): Chris Brown made his comeback with a performance in East Rutherford, New Jersey after the infamous row with ex-girlfriend Rihanna earlier this year.

The rapper made his appearance wearing a black and red Michael Jackson-inspired outfit. He thanked his fans for their support and appreciated them for attending the show.

"Despite my past and stuff like that, I appreciate all of y'all. How long we gonna do this for? We gonna do this forever!" the Daily Express quoted him as saying.

He had earlier announced that he would do a series of Fan Appreciation gigs across the U.S in recent future. Brown's first show of the tour is scheduled to take place in Houston, Texas on 14 November. The tour will end with a pre-Christmas concert at New York's Nokia Theater on 15 December.

Brown has decided to forward the collection from the shows to charity group Los Angeles' Jenesse Center, a domestic violence intervention organization. He was sentenced to serve community service in Virginia for beating Rihanna earlier this year.

He's not a rapper, he's an R&B SINGER. We know he's Black, people, but not all Black male entertainers are rappers. SMH
