Boyle refuses to turn up for BGT tour rehearsals

London (ANI): Singer Susan Boyle reportedly left organisers biting their nails after refusing to show up at the rehearsals for the Britain"s Got Talent tour. The show"s runner-up was apparently due to join the 23-date nationwide tour on its opening night in Birmingham on June 12.

But Susan, who had sparked health concerns during her four-day stint at a rehab clinic after suffering exhaustion, was said to be still in talks over the launch show and had allegedly declined to rehearse with the rest of the BGT finalists. The 48-year-old purportedly wants to do only a couple of shows to preserve her vocals for the recording of her debut album with BGT boss Simon Cowell.

“No one knows quite what Susan wants to do," the Sun quoted a show"s source as saying. “We"re leaving everything up to her, to make sure that she"s happy and well. But the problem is that she changes her mind every two minutes," the source added.

I understand what Ann is saying, the older you get the harder it is to get used to a new schedule, in this case to get used to a complete new life - lifestyle. Of course 47 is not old, but not many people would hold on to their dreams for so many years, especially when the possibility that they will come true is not the best. When Susan performed on BGT for the first time, I´m sure nobody would have guesses that she would become a Superstar over night, most of all, Susan did´nt. She wanted to be given a chance and the top of her dreams was to get a record contract, she ended up in the limelight of the worldpress. It takes time to learn to handle this and I agree, it´s easier for younger people because they don´t need to drop their routine for 30 yrs. I also think that the show biz is a hard thing for a newcomer and I´m glad that Susan got the opportunity to do the next step when she is ready.

I think Susan Boyle has an amazing voice but I think because of her age It is too much for her. I have felt this all along this is why it is best for younger people who can handle the pace Good Luck Susan

What I even dispise more than bible thumpers are people who want to change the American Constitutions - my rights to freedom of speech. If you're an example of what a Susan Boyle fan is - I'm glad I'm not a fan of hers.

To pet: I totally dispise bible thumpers. Spare me.

Susan specifically stated she wants to sing for the Queen . Why does everyone think America is so wonderful? That's the land of Hollywood phonies. Just about all the shallow remarks came from the USA. She wants to sing for the Queen. Why doesn't someone help her do that?

Morgan, I think the Queen need to invite Susan to sing for her. I believe she will, but first she will have to watch the street dance group, that was part of the prize. I´m sure Susan will get the chance to make this dream come true and to sing for the Queen someday.

I doubt anyone will allow a basket case to sing for the Queen.

No Lie, it is a fact that the President of the United States invited her, it was on all TV-Stations around the world. Don´t you think that the spokesman of the White House would have said something on behalf of the President if that would´nt be true? Obama invited her already a couple weeks ago, but because of the rules of the Show there was no way to accept his or anyone else´s invitation. To me wanna-be-stars like Amy Winehouse, Pete Doherty, Britney Spears are embarrassing because of their behavious in the public, full of drugs and alcohol, causing scandals wherever they go. Paris Hilton would be just a big Nobody without her name and all the money, she has no talent for anything and nevertheless she has lots of fans. Actually I don´t understand why all this sad little people here pick on Susan. Leave her alone and feel free not to be a fan, that is your decision, but don´t come back here again and again whining and moaning. The daily growing army of true Susan fans will outnumber you BIG TIME.

When I read the past posts one could get the impression that this is not about talent and an indrecible voice. You want her act like you think is ok. I did´nt know that doing funny things on stage is a crime or that this would have an impact on her voice. Are you checking her out because you want to marry her or do you want to hear her sing?

To clarify, none of my observations are based on the Sun's reporting, or other tabloids. Watching her onstage with the dress-raising and hip grinding was quite enough. The striking silly poses for the cameras I did see in the papers, but in multiple papers around the world. She seems to love the attention. Media scrutiny is no excuse for making oneself ridiculous. If she could just act with a little dignity and professionalism, maybe I could be won over again. But I'm really disappointed in her.

I started out as a fan, but I'm losing my respect for her. Depending on the reports you hear, she's either a simple, innocent, disabled person who was thrust into celebrity and totally broke down, in which case she shouldn't be doing this tour, or she is an out of control diva who throws hissy-fits, and glasses of water on people, when she doesn't win. Her neighbors in West Lothian have spoken of her history of erupting into tantrums any time she doesn't get her way. I cringe every time I see her posing and prancing for the cameras, and the impromptu strip-tease onstage was just painful. Why won't she act professionally? It isn't all caused by the media focus. She's prancing around and doing that hip grinding all by herself, clearly enjoying the exhibitionism. Also, all we've really heard is one polished song in live performance, and it looks like that's the one song the public is going to get, over and over, on tour. This behavior is demeaning to her musicianship, and, if she is learning disabled, she is giving a bad name to people who try to succeed in spite of cognitive difficulties. Someone, please get her to act with some dignity. She's going to cause her own undoing with her behavior.
