Washington (ANI): R 'n' B musician Akon is gearing up to launch his own fragrance. According to reports, he will be coming up with his two perfumes this year. Akon recently formed Konvict Cosmetics, and is planning to launch Konvicted, a scent for younger consumers, and Aliaune, titled after his real name.

His perfumes will be aimed at more mature customers, reports Contactmusic.  Akon has also announced expansion plans for his clothing line, Konvict and Aliaune Clothing, which will also be made available for fans in Africa.

Other celebrities who have launched their own fragrances include Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears.
