Macca, Ono angry with John Lennon: The Life author

London (ANI): Sir Paul McCartney and Yoko Ono are said to be furious after a new book they contributed to accuses John Lennon of wanting a gay relationship with his fellow Beatle. The book also alleges that Lennon fantasised about sleeping with his mom.

Yoko, 75, agreed to be interviewed for 'John Lennon: The Life', written by respected Beatles author Philip Norman, and Paul McCartney also co-operated. But she and Macca are now distancing themselves from it and Yoko has withdrawn her endorsement.

"Both Sir Paul and Yoko are extremely angry and upset," the Mirror quoted a pal, as saying.

London (ANI): Sir Paul McCartney has denied claims that John Lennon wanted a gay relationship with him. Author Philip Norman claims in a new biography, 'John Lennon: The Life', that the late star lusted over McCartney.

However, Macca is adamant Lennon did not have homosexual tendencies- but admits they often shared a bed. "I don't think (the gay claims) are true. John never ever tried anything, I slept with him a million times," the Sun quoted him, as saying.
