Washington (ANI): Sir Paul McCartney has spoken about his break-up with Heather Mills, in the form of a song. The former Beatle, whose marriage to the former model ended in a bitter and protracted High Court divorce battle, has consistently refused to talk about his former spouse in public. However, Macca has now expressed his torment about the breakdown of his second marriage in a new ballad, titled 'My Soul', taken from his forthcoming album 'London Undersound'.

The lyrics reference the former couple's struggle with the paparazzi and 'secrets' that were kept from him. He sings; "I want to know all your secrets. How could this steal all these feelings? How could they lie to the world? A picture away from your smile. One heart replaced. Feelings displaced. Invade our space."

"What the song shows is that Paul just feels sorry for her. He feels sorry that she was never able to tell him the full truth about her past life," Contactmusic quoted a source, as telling British newspaper the Daily Mail. "Paul knows Heather is a complex person, and deeply misunderstood, but she has hardly helped herself by being less than transparent about her life," the source added.

I wonder if this story is true? It seems very odd that he would write such a song about Heather when their marriage ended in such acrimony. In addition, some of the lyrics that I have seen match her statements in court a bit too neatly. I also find it hard to believe that he would pen such a song about Heather Mills when he has a new girlfriend in tow. Not very diplomatic, is it? It would not surprise me if Heather Mills made this story up and leaked it to the Daily Mail. She is notorious for doing this sort of thing to make herself look better. I think we should look out for a denial.
