Washington (ANI): Madonna's younger brother, Christopher Ciccone, has written a book about his pop star sibling, which is set for release next month, publisher Simon&Schuster has announced. The 'Life With My Sister' is co-written by biographer Wendy Leigh and will hit shelves on July 15.
"Ciccone's extraordinary memoir is based on his life and 47 years of growing up with and working with his sister—the most famous woman in the world," E! Online quoted the company, as saying. The publishing house has ordered a monster first printing of 350,000 copies of the book.
Simon&Schuster had told retailers several months ago about the tome but kept the identity of the author and the book's content a secret. Christopher is a noted Miami-based designer who helped direct two of the 'Hard Candy' star's biggest world tour, Blonde Ambition in 1990 and Girlie Show in 1992. Madonna's longtime representative Liz Rosenberg has no comment about the book
