Led Zeppelin hit studio after 25 years

Led Zeppelin
London (ANI): English rock band Led Zeppelin may be gearing up for a reunion tour, as they have reportedly returned to the studio for the first time in more than a quarter of a century. Guitarist Jimmy Page and drummer John Bonham are said to be working on new material during secret sessions in London, while vocalist Robert Plant is still on tour in the US with current musical partner, country singer Alison Krauss, and his absence from the band is very obvious.

"I've been working with Jimmy and John Paul and trying to do some new material and some writing," the Sun quoted Bonham as revealing. "I don't know what it will be, but it will be something," he said. It would seem that the band is working towards something, as Bonham has given notice to his current employers, Foreigner, that he will no longer drum for them after September 1, which leaves open the possibilities of a reunion.

The only band member who is hesitant to return, after their smash hit comeback show at London's O2 Arena last year, is Plant, while Page is very keen to have a show. "The possibility of doing something is on the cards," Bonham stated. "I really felt it was on the cards from the moment we walked off stage at the O2. "At the moment, all I know is I have the great pleasure to go and jam with the two guys and start work on some material. "Whatever it ends up as, to get a chance to jam with two people like that is a phenomenal thing for me." "When I get there, I never ask any questions," he added.

Led Zeppelin looking to replace singer Robert Plant

Zep guitarist Jimmy Page, bassist John Paul Jones and drummer Jason Bonham have been busy recently rehearsing in West London's Ritz Studio and using stand-in vocalists. Plant has refused to take part in any practice sessions as he is currently committed to his side project with country singer Alison Krauss. "Jimmy, Jason and John are determined a.....

Washington (ANI): Hollywood star Jackie Chan has said that he's not upset with his small role in Beijing Olympics ceremonies, insisting that he was honoured just to be involved with the games. The Rush Hour star appeared for a few minutes in the opening and closing ceremonies, where he was seen singing with a host of other singers at the end of both ceremonies last month. However, the spotlight was more on other stars such as retired Chinese gymnast Li Ning.....
