Beatles to finish Lennon's work

London (ANI): The surviving Beatles are planning to complete John Lennon's last unfinished composition, 'Now And Then' as a tribute to the 'fifth Beatle' Neil Aspinall, who died last week. 'Now and Then' was unearthed around the same time as the other two reunion songs 'Free as a Bird' and 'Real Love.'

Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr spruced up the other two tracks and they went on to become top ten hits, but 'Now And Then' was left untouched. "There have been discussions about finishing Now And Then. It would be quite a task," The Sun quoted an insider, as saying.

"The process of re-recording the two tracks that charted was fairly painless because the songs were almost complete. Now And Then will need a significant amount more work to get it into a condition where it could be released," the insider added.

John never ever tried anything, I slept with him a million times," the Sun quoted him, as saying. "I've.....

They were already planning to redo this track. I remember hearing about it about a year ago, with talk about the Beatles songs being released digitally. And they did touch it back during the making of the anthology. It's available on a bootleg. It's not that good either. I can see why they didn't finish/release it. I hope they change it a lot to make it good this time.
