Kylie breaks down marking two decades of success

Kylie MinogueAustralian sensation, singer Kylie Minogue, broke into tears at a party to mark two decades of her success in the pop music industry on Friday. The party was organised in a marquee at Fulham Palace in London. Delivering a speech at the occasion, Kylie's manager Terry Blamey called her a "sexy and strong" star.

Kylie's sister Dannii and former 'Neighbours' co-stars Jason Donovan and Natalie Inbruglia were among guests who attended the event.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the festivities lasted till about 4 a.m.

'Locomotion' secured first position on August 3, 1987, and stayed on top of the Australian charts for seven weeks. The single debuted at No.2 in the UK charts, but never made it to No.1 there. Kylie's first song to top the UK charts in 1987 was 'I Should Be So Lucky'. She has since released 12 albums, and had over 40 hit singles worldwide.
