Malayalam movie Vilaapangalkkapuram by noted director T V Chandran is set for release on June 12. T V Chandran the film maker is well known for his sensitive renderings of poignant social issues of the day. Vilaapangalkkapuram is in no way different as it will be addressing the ghastly Gujarat riots which had taken place a few years ago. The film was completed a year ago and is ready for the D-day.
Priyanka Nair plays the lead role of the victim in the Gujarat riots; who has lost her family and has been brutally raped and constantly haunted by the horror. Biju Menon and Suhasini appear on screen as doctors in the movie.
Aliceinte Anveshanam, Susanna, Mankamma and Paadam Onnu Oru Vilaapam are some of the critically acclaimed movies directed by T V Chandran.
