Sudha Chandran popularly known as the Mayuri girl is back to Malayalam movies. After a long hiatus, the actress will appear in the Malayalam movie Alexander the Great featuring Mohanlal in the lead role.
While Sudha appears as Gayathri, Mohanlal plays the title role Alexander Varma. However she will not be cast opposite the superstar, as he does not have a heroine in this movie.The actress will appear onscreen as the mother of the young hero Bala in the movie. Meenakshi Dixit will be seen as his heroine in the Murali nagavally directed Alexander the Great.
Sudha Chandran has acted in Malayalam movies like Kaalam Maari Katha Maari way back in 1987 with Mammoootty. So this would just be another homecoming for the actress. Others in the cast include Siddique, Jagadish, Jagathy Sreekumar and Innocent.
