Neelathamara, the Blue Lotus, will hit the screens today. The movie is the remake of the 1979 Neelathamara directed by Yusuf Ali Kechery. The Classmate director Lal Jose has directed the movie. The script is of M T Vasudevan Nair. The film cast solely new comers.
The main lead done by the actress Ambika in 1979 will be performed by the new face Archana. The story revolves around her. Kailash perform Haridas, the hero. Other cast includes Samvritha Sunil, Rima Kallingal, Suresh etc.
Music is composed by Vidyasagar. The title song 'Neelathamare' sung by Karthik and the song 'Anuragavilochananaayi' have already been added to the hit list. Hope Lal Jose has been successful in reimplementing the movie with all its beauty again in 2009!
