Debutante Prashanth Murali directed Paisa Paisa is a clear depiction of a possible happening in one's life. It throws light on the importance of money in life. At times, no matter however rich we are, one may become in need of money and that too a small amount, finds it difficult to raise it. That's life and Prashanth is carving out that real truth.

Balu (Aju Varghese) comes to Chennai for attending an interview. He has only his mother and lady love Pooja (Apoorva Bose) in his life. Before attending the interview, he calls his love and talks to her on phone. After the first round, since there is ample time left for the second phase, Balu thinks of going out for shopping. He gets an auto to a railway station, but it takes him to a desolate area where he comes to know that he has been kidnapped.

Ten thousand rupees is the ransom asked. Balu suddenly calls up his friend Kishore (Indrajith), who is on his way to settle down the fight with his wife Surya (Mamta Mohandas). Kishore tries his best to get the ransom demanded. Even though it was not a big amount, no one came forward to lend a helping hand. It was only then, Kishore realises the real face of his friends and relatives. The climax of the movie is shot in a very thrilling manner.

Indrajith- Mamta Again!

Mamta Mohandas is pairing up with Indrajith through this film. They were earlier seen together in Race movie, where Mamta played opposite Kunchacko Boban and Indrajith played the villain.

Money Matters!

The film highlights the fact that money matters in one's life. It does not matter how small the amount is but the luck to get the right amount at the right time is all that is important.

Positive Sides

The movie reminds everyone the importance of even a single pie in life. Indrajith gets into the character and is well portrayed throughout the film. One can feel the energy and spirit with his character in the movie. Music has also shown its part in a decent manner. Kishore Mani's cinematography is excellent. Other cast has also proved their roles to be a success.

Negativeness In The Film

The movie though is a thriller, lacks the drama it needs. At some point, we feel the movie is out of control as the dialogues are found lagging.

Verdit

Paisa Paisa is a paisa vasool movie. It is a thriller with lots of good moments that has close links into one's life. Do not keep a high expectation. It is a watchable flick.
