Malayalam movies getting remakes in other languages is quite normal. 22 Female Kottayam was the last movie to get a remake in Tamil. Now, another movie is all set to enter the list. And, it's none other than Usthad Hotel.
According to its producer, Usthad Hotel shares a message. It bears with a universal subject. If sources are to be believed, Vikram Prabhu will be essaying the role of Dulquar Salman in the remake version.The movie is expected to start rolling by October.
Usthad Hotel was directed by Anwar Rasheed. Starring Dulquar Salman, Nithya Menon and late Thilakan in the lead roles, the movie was about the story of a young man Faizal (Dulquar Salman), the only son of his father. His father wanted him to be a businessman. But, Faizal aspired to become a chef. His mismatch with his father takes him to his grandfather (Thilakan), who runs a small hotel named Usthad Hotel. Faizal learns the bitter part of life from his grandfather and takes the hotel to great heights with the help of Shahana (Nithya Menon).
Dulquar Salman is currently busy with his upcoming movie Pattam Pole. Nithya Menon is also engaged with her project, which is the Tamil remake of the Malayalam movie 22 Female Kottayam. She will be essaying the role of Rima Kallingal in the remake version.
