The movie Pithavnum Puthranum Parishudhatmavinum lands in trouble. Directed by Deepesh, the movie failed to get green signal from the Censor Board Of Film Certification (CBFC). The movie has been refused the certification as it is likely to have contents which might hurt the feelings of a particular religion.

Shaji M Karun, a member of the CBFC, commented that there were some scenes in the movie which needed more clarification. But the director of the movie was not present at the time of screening, to clear their doubts. So, they had no other option, but to reject the film.
