Mammootty once again impresses writer Zacharia with his performance as Joy, the Pala based farmer. Zacharia, who is the script writer for Mammootty's latest venture, which is yet to be titled (earlier tiled as Praise The Lord), visited the sets of the film in Pala, where he saw the reel life of his character Joy.
Zacharia says that he is impressed by the way Mammootty has performed. Adding on, Zacharia says that his character Joy is a real man who lives in Pala even now. The whole story is based on the real life of Joy, who is currently in his old age.
The shooting of the movie is currently progressing at Kanjirapally, in Pala. A lot of people have tented the place to see a glimpse of their star turning a real life hero. Zacharia visited Mammootty on the set and had spent time with the actor.
Mammootty and Zacharia recollected their last movie together, which was Vidheyan. Mammootty won the National Award for Best Actor for his performance in the same. Zacharia said that he was impressed by Mammootty's performance then and now too!
Reenu Mathews plays the female lead in this movie. The movie was put to a halt due to bad weather and now it has started again. Akanksha Puri is also seen in the movie. Shibu Gangadharan is the director and TP Devarajan has done the scripting for the movie.
