Jayasurya, Meera Nandan and Rima Kallingal are now busy shooting for director TV Chandran's commercial movie Sankaranum Mohananum, which is making a brisk progress in Kochi. Pradeep Nair is handling the picturisation work for the film. According to sources, Jayasurya is appearing in 20 different get-ups in it.
Sankaranum Mohananum is a comedy-cum-fantasy film, which revolves around the strange incidents faced by Mohanakrishnan from the ghost of his dead brother Sankaran. Jayasurya is playing double role as Mohana and his brother Sankaran, while Rima appears as his wife Jyotsna.
Jayasurya is all excited to work with TV Chandran. The actor says, “Acting in a film by Chandran would be something that any artiste would dream of. So, for me, it"s like a dream come true. I had always wanted to do some small role in one of his films. And I am fortunate that I have been chosen to play such a vital role."
However, TV Chandran is popularly known for his art films and Sankaranum Mohananum, which is being produced jointly by Prem Prakash and Raju Mallyath, is his first commercial film. The director says that there is an autobiographical element to the story as memories of his own brother, who died in Nigeria almost 30 years ago, still haunts him.
