Malayalam actor Prithviraj is very upset with the piracy of his recently released movie Urumi, which was released on Internet by a US-based website for download. The Mallu star has now waged a war against film piracy, by registering a complaint with the Cyber Cell. He has requested the Cell to crack down the culprits.

Malayalam movie Urumi is a multilingual movie, which is made with a whopping amount of 20 crores. Besides playing the lead role, Prithviraj is also one among the producers of the film. It has got lot of demand in the market, but he fears that the free downloading of the movie would affect its collection at the Box Office.

Another big reason that bothers Prithvi the most, is that he has planned to release Urumi in several countries, where people are eagerly waiting for the movie to hit the theatres in their countries. Especially in UAE, it is expected to get huge market. Prithvi thinks that curious fans may resort to downloading of pirated version of Urumi online, which is sure to affect its collection.

However, Urumi is a historical drama, which features Prithviraj, Prabhudeva, Genelia D'Souza and Vidya Balan in the leads. Besides getting rave reviews from critics, the film has also been liked by movie buffs in Kerala. Now, the word of mouth is driving the viewers to the theatres.

Even the mobile format (but still really good quality) of the movie is available for download... Feels sad when its happening for such a great movie...

The problem that he faces with this news is ,more and more people will search the internet and this will be a boost to the downloads. This will hurt Urumi more . There is no way this can get abolished as the downloads links keeps propping up now and then
