AMMA has decided to give one more chance to the aced actor Thilakan for giving an explanation. Thilakan was suspended from AMMA due to his rational comments and activities and asked for an explanation. Thilakan did gave them an explanation but that was not a satisfactory one. Later the executive members of AMMA decided to give one more chance to Thilakan to speak on his problems.
General Secretary Mohanlal said that AMMA do not want to lose Thilakan from the membership. He is like respectable member in the committee and so the members have agreed to give Thilakan one more chance. By the time Thilakan was removed from the Hollywood film Dam 999 and he was replaced by the Bollywood actor Rajath Kapoor. They gave Thilakan a sum of Rs 7 lakh as compensation. Thilakan responded saying that he is ready to give an explanation to AMMA.
