Samvrutha and Prithviraj in Manikya Kallu

Samvrutha Sunil is one of those lucky Malayalam actresses to have got all the best roles and been a part of only hit films. Her year started off with Happy Husbands, which was a success. She was a part of films like Robinhood last year. Once again, she will play the female lead in the Prithviraj starrer Manikya Kallu.

Directed by M Mohanan of Katha Parayumpol fame, the film will have Samvrutha playing a physical education teacher at a local school. Prithviraj will be playing Vinayachandran, a newly appointed teacher at the Vannamala government school which had been founded by the British. Manikya Kallu will start rolling by the end of the month at Ottapalam and Palakkad.
