It is well aware that Mohanlal was to play one of the seven husbands in Vishal Bharadwaj's Saat Khoon Maaf. But when the cast came Mohanlal was not there. Director of the movie said that Mohanlal opted out of the movie due to date issues. Mohanlal currently is brimmed with films from his own industry.
Presently, he is shooting for Shikar, Alexander the Great, Oru Naal Varum, Christian Brothers, China Town, Kandahar, Swapnamalika and Casanova etc.. Out of these Oru Naal Varum has Sameera Reddy opposite him. She is making her debut in the industry. Also Sangeeth Sivan is planning a new film with Mohanlal named Bhasuram. Its production is by Reliance.
Oru Naal Varum, Shikar is already under filming and Kandahar will start rolling from June end. Latest buzz is that Mohanlal is likely to do another Bollywood film in near future. What to say..he is just wonderful.
