Mohanlal starred movie Casanova is said to start its shooting from May 24 in Goa. The movie is said to shoot for about 85 days in locations including Goa, Dubai, Kochi, Bangkok, and Cape Town. Cape Town will be the main location. Mohanlal plays the role of Casanova in the film, who is an International Orchid flower merchant settled in Bangalore. His business is mainly concentrated in Capetown.
The film was supposed to go on the floors in Dubai last year but it got postponed after the producer of the film, Vaisakh Rajan dropped the project. Also the film had run into some issues because the proposed budget of the film was too much. Directed by Roshan Andrews, Confident Group along with Impresario Pictures are producing the film and Vyshakh films is distributing. The film will have an international release along with India,UK,US and Italy. In India film will be released simultaneously in Kerala,Chennai,Bangalore,Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
Apart from Mohanlal other cast includes Ganesh, Lakshmi Rai, Sameera Reddy, Sanjjana, Honey Rose, Mithra Kurian etc.
