Sanjeev Sivan gets Vasudha Award at IFFI

It was a glorious moment for Malayalees at the closing ceremony of IFFI yesterday. The pride of Malayalam industry Mammootty was the chief guest for the day and two Malayalees won awards at the function yesterday. Under the short film category Kelkunnundo won the Golden Tree Award which was directed by the Malayalam Actress Geethu Mohandas. Under the Best environmental Film section Undergroun Inferno won the Vasudha Award directed by Sanjeev Sivan and Umesh Agarwal.

Film Meltdown in Tibet, directed by Micheal Beckley, shared the award for the same category. The award includes cash worth rupees three lakh. Sanjeev Sivan is the bother of Santhosh Sivan and Sangeeth Sivan
