The pooja of the film Kaathiripp, directed by Sree Vallabhan was performed at Vailoppilli Samskrithi Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram. Veteran actor Madhu lit the lamp. Syamam, which has won number of awards was the work of Sree Vallabhan. Thilakan, M.G.Radhakrishnan, Bichu Thrumala, Menaka, Suresh Kumar, Shaji Kailas and many others attended the event.
Under the banner of New Age movie makers and Glow productions Nazer, Nazeer and Gopa Kumar are producing the film. The shoot will begin from the first week of April. Screenplay and dialogue are by Shibu. Udayan Ambadi will wield the camera. Bichu Thirumala has penned the lyrics. Music has been scored by M.G.Radha Krishnan. Cast includes Manikuttan, Thilakan, Vijayaraghavan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, M.R.Gopakumar, Mala Aravindan, K.P.A.C. Lalitha, Sona Nair and others.
