Mohanlal and Mammootty
A few weeks earlier, it was reported that Mammootty might share screen space with 'Ulaga Nayagan' Kamal Hassan in his upcoming remake of super hit A Wednesday (Hindi) directed by Neeraj Pandey. Now, it is confirmed that it would not be Mammootty, but Mohanlal. If this happens, it could be one of the most interesting partnerships in Indian cinema.

Kamal Hassan will play the lead, the role essayed by Naseeruddin Shah in the original, while Mohanlal will play the role of the police officer played by Anupam Kher. The remaining cast and crew of the film are not yet confirmed. Kamal Hassan is reportedly in talks with UTV Productions for making this film.

Kamal is currently finalizing the director for this remake. Moreover, the versatile actor is expected to start work on this remake even before he starts Thalaivan Irukindran, which was announces as his next project.

The story of A Wednesday revolves around the Mumbai police commissioner who reminisces about the most challenging case in his career and how he tackled it. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Shital Bhatia and Anjum Rizvi, the film marks the return of the Anupam Kher-Naseeruddin Shah duo on screen after 12 years. A Wednesday got strong positive reviews and critical acclaims, particularly for its storyline.

That's correct Mohanlal or Mammootty not behind Kamal in acting. But it could be a good partnership in Cinema because both have not acted in a same film despite the film "Dalapathy" where Mammotty acted along Rajnikanth

think mammootty has rejected the offer..in wednesday Anupam Kher's role has nothng to perform..shah,who raises questions to terrorism, had done a ver good performance. In new verion Kamal doing shah's role. Why mammootty or mohanlal doing another? they are not behind to kamal in acting..
