How Mammootty easily forgot co-actor Ratheesh?

Mammootty
When superstar Mammootty widely proclaimed that he would bear the educational expenses of Lohithadas' children shortly after the demise of the celebrated scriptwriter and director, everyone was overwhelmed. However when director Sibi Malayil, a close friend of Lohithadas clarified in his statement that the family of the deceased was not suffering from any sort of financial crisis, questions were brewing in many minds. There are 44 scripts and 8 directorial ventures to Lohithadas' credit and it can be vouchsafed that he did not have that much of a financial burden. But he did incur some losses while producing some movies and also while remaking his Kasthurimaan in Tamil.

When Mammootty under the shock of the death of the master craftsman made such a sweeping statement, little did he know that he was courting trouble for himself. Lohithadas' children are to finish their studies soon and so that is not a major issue. However it seems that our superstar has conveniently forgotten his friend and co-actor Ratheesh, who passed away a couple of years back. Ratheesh had helped Mammootty when he was struggling to establish himself as an actor in the film industry. Ratheesh's family is under severe financial cringe after his untimely death in 2002 following a heart attack.

Ratheesh's wife is struggling to make both ends meet and also cater to the educational needs of the four children. It would be better if the film fraternity which boasts of unity and a feeling of oneness amongst its members extends a helping hand to the needy families of artistes. Mammootty will however have to review his decision whether Lohithadas' or Ratheesh's family truly deserves a helping hand.

What were you trying to bring out here? All Mammooty has done is extend something that was voluntary what is supposed to be expected for someone who has spent so much time with Lohithdas. Do not pull negativity out for the actor who has done a lot for the malayalam film industry. Be grateful that you were born in a generation where you get to see that Maestro at work.

Please let me know how much money, you have contributed to any of these personlities families??? i bet.. not even a single penny. Then why u comment on this? If Mammootty or any other person is helping Lohitadas family, its a good deed, we have to support that. How many people supported Ratheesh's family? Please try to find Postive things on others than trying to find negative and faults in others. Its easy to preach. First you support Ratheesh and Lohi's family with at least One Rupee, then you write.

This is so typical. Mammootty is not obligated to help anyone, he's only doing so out of the goodness of his heart. For the author of this article to say that he should've helped Ratheesh's family is rich. It's easy to preach, but I don't see them doing anything. There are always gonna be idiots to criticise good deeds, for them nothing is ever enough.

Unfaithful Mammooty 26 Jul 2009 01:07 pm
Feel pity on Mammootty that he forgot his friend Ratheesh so soon, he has also forgot Ratheeshs helping hand during his struggling days, no wonder he is only ordinary. Ratheesh is no more and none to support his family, Mammooty wouldnt lose his life earnings if he helps them out. Ratheesh would be lamenting in his grave to have such unfaithful frinds. A friend in need is afriend indeed!! is it so??
