Who will consider Jayasurya seriously, in the face of the numerous light-hearted roles essayed by him. But not any more. Jayasurya is to become the tough cop who will read your eyes in and out. Robinhood by director Joshy has Jayasurya in the role of a police officer, who is entrusted with the task of cracking the bank robberies which have been taking place rampantly.

Robinhood has Prithviraj as the hi-tech thief who induges in robbing the Bank ATMs, guest houses and so forth. Narain also plays a key role in the movie. The movie also has Bhavana as the lead heroine.

Jayasurya who is to play the cop in this movie has acted as a police in the movie Positive by director V Prakash. However the role of the tough police officer Aniyan did not gain him much recognition. We hope that Robinhood, will open a chapter in the film career of Jayasurya, who will get the opportunity to showcase his acting prowess.
