Ivar Vivaahitharayaal, a story of a young man who marries at quite an early age and eventually gets caught between three women, is penned by Krishna Poojappura and will mark Saji Surendran's debut in films. Meanwhile, Jayasuriya's Dr. Patient (also spelt as Doctor Patient) is currently progressing in full swing at the locations of Kochi, Peermedu and Wagamon. In this fun-filled entertainer, he plays a funny psychiatrist named Dr. Ruben Isaac, while Mukesh plays another psychiatrist. Radha Varma from Andhra Pradesh is the heroine. This is the first time that Jayasurya, known for his light-hearted comic roles, dons the role of a psychiatrist.
Jayasurya's Currency has reportedly completed its entire shooting and is now in post production. Produced under the banner of Indo-star Movie Magic, Currency has Jayasurya playing the role of a tailor named Keshava Menon alias Keshu. Interestingly, Mukesh plays a significant role as Danny D'souza, an Anglo-Indian who has the hobby of collecting antiques. Meera Nandan is the heroine.
Oru Black And White Kudumbam is by director Shaiju Anthikkad of the Shaiju-Shaji duo, who directed the Jayasuriya starrer Shakespeare M.A. Malayalam in 2008. Jayasurya plays the role of a handsome guy Adithya Varma, son of a dark-skinned father Antony and fair mother Lakshmi. The shooting is already on at Ottapaalam.
