In the film Loud Speaker directed by Jayaraj, Bollywood actress Gracy Singh has been cast as the heroine of Mammootty. She was the heroine in the mega hit film Lagaan, with Aamir Khan as hero. The dialogue and script are by Renjit and Jayaraj has penned the story. Jayaraj himself is producing the film.

Mammootty dons the role of 'Mike Gopalan'. He has got the nickname because he always speaks loudly. The backdrop of the film is a city and gives importance to comedy. Other casts include Jagathy, Nedumudi Venu, Innocent, Salim Kumar, Siddique and others. Bijibal has scored the music. The pooja of the film will be on February 2.
