After the much critically acclaimed work Mizhikal Sakshi, Ashok R Nath is coming forward with his new venture Ekadasi. Mizhikal Sakshi narrated the travails of a hapless Muslim woman whose son was given the death penalty based on the false accusations of bombing a train.

Ekadasi which is to start rolling from Ekadasi onwards has Sureshgopi in the lead role with Shobhana and Navya Nair as the heroines in the movie. With the story by Sunil Prem and screenplay and dialogue by Anil Mukhathala, Ekadasi has lyrics by the veteran O N V Kurup and music by Anil.

Manoj K Jayan, Vineeth, Anoop Menon, Sukumari and others are there in key roles in this movie produced by Sandeep Nair.
