Filmmaker Haridas is known for the peculiar names he assigns to his movies like Kadha, Samvidhanam Kunchacko to the upcoming Malayalam movie Avalum Avalude Kumarettanum. The movie features Jagadeesh and Mukesh in the lead roles and narrates the entertaining story which revolves the mystery of a missing man.

Avalum Avalude Kumarettanum has a village as the backdrop of the story. This turns out to be pivotal issue and the whole village gets engulfed in this man missing case, causing problem to one and all. Vidya makes her debut through this movie as the lead heroine. Jagathy Sreekumar, Indrans, Usha and others play key roles in the movie. With the script by K P Sunil and the movie produced by Anand Kumar, the shooting for the same has already begun.
