Antony John, President of the Press Club, said that senior Tamil actor Manorama will present the award at a function to be held at Bharat Tourist Home at 3.30 p.m. on June 26. Talking about Mizhikal Sakshi in which she plays the role of a dumb mother, Sukumari said at a meeting organized with the Mizhikal Sakshi team at the Press Club in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday: "This is a small film released amid the sound and fury of big films. Ladies should come and see the film. The media should help us." Sukumari said that she has not yet seen the film for fear that she 'might have messed things up'.
