It has rocked the industry as not only the two artistes but also the other members of the film crew including Director Shafi, Cinematographer Azhagappan and others have been held captives.
According to sources Thailand has been going through a political unrest. Somchai Vangasavath, the president of Thailand was allegedly involved in a corruption case and the angry citizens took to the streets. Misfortunate as it may be termed, those suffering from their rage and anger are our innocent artistes. The cast and crew of the Malayalam film Lollypop had chosen the wrong hour to land in Bangkok to shoot the remaining portions of the film.
