Poorna shifts her base

Poorna, a teenager from Kochi, joins the band of actresses shifting their base to Tamil. She makes her debut in Tamil through Muniandi Vilangial Moondramandu directed by Thirumurugan. The cast includes Bharat and Vadivel, Poorna is the heroine.

Poorna has appeared in supporting roles in three Malayalam films, Alibhai, Flash and College Kumaran. The audio launch of Muniandi Vilangial Moondramandu was held at the Asiana hotel on the outskirts of Chennai on June 24th. The music is by Vidyasagar. The function was attended by many stars, including Vijay and Prabhu. After the launch, Vijay said that Poorna reminds him of Asin and that she has a bright future in Tamil cinema.
