Another award for Paradesi

P.T. Kunju Mohammed's Paradesi, a tale of an Muslim Indian who lives the life of an alien in his own country, has received the best film award at the recently-announced Film Audience Council Awards. The movie failed to click at the box office, but has bagged yet another award: the best actor award for Mohanlal.

Kavya Madhavan has been adjudged the best actress and Ranjith has won the best director award. Mohanlal feels the role of Valiakath Moosa played by him in Paradesi is the best role in his career. He also won the best actor award for this role from the Atlas Film Critics Awards Association.
