Minnaminnikoottam makes big release

Featuring an array of young stars, Minnaminnikoottam was released in 48 centres last Friday. The film, based on the life of a young IT professional in a company, is aimed mainly at young audiences.

Directed by Kamal, Minnaminnikoottam, featuring Narain, Indrajith, Jayasurya, Manikuttan, Anoop Chandran, Meera Jasmine, Samvrutha, Roma and Radhika, is expected to be a big hit. Kamal, who started his career in 1986 with Mizhineer Pookal, has directed more than 32 films.

The producer of Minnaminnikoottam is Rakhi Ram and the distributor is Mulakupadam Release.

Raghunath Paleri has named his third directorial venture Kanneerinu Madhuram and shooting is progressing at Malayalam cinema's favourite shooting spot, Ottappalam. Indrajith and Bhama are coming together for the first time as the lead pair. The film also has Jagathy, Nedumudi Venu and Manasa in pivotal roles. Raghunath Paleri is well-known script writer in Malayalam and has directed two films already. Veteran director Joshy's much-hyped multi-starrer Twenty:20, featuring all major Malayalam stars, is expected to grace theatres by 24th October.
