Madambi celebrates 100 days run

Director B. Unnikrishnan's super hit Madambi with Mohanlal has celebrated its successful 100-day run with a grand celebration, organized at the Symphony hall of Mascot hotel in Thiruvanthapuram last week. The function started with a felicitation speech by producer B.C. Joshi. Kerala Labour and Excise minister P.K. Gurudasan was the chief guest.

Hero Mohanlal, heroine Kavya Madhavan, former minister M.M. Hassan, legendary singer K.J. Yesudas, Jagathy Sreekumar, Sooraj Venjaranmoodu, Rajeev Nath, M. Jayachandran and others participated in this glorious function.

Madambi, which was released in 61 theatres in the state, has taken a fantastic opening, the best-ever for a Malayalam film in recent times. The film has grossed a whopping Rs 1.37 crores in the initial three days itself.
