Nair San: Jackie to join with Mohanlal

Jackie Chan
It is surely not a pleasant news to Aaskar Ravichandran, the so called 'brand owner' of Jackie Chan in India! He often claimed that he got the dates of Jackie to produce a multilingual film in coming months and it would be even more grandeur than Dasavatharam. But Albert overtakes in this race and reportedly got the approval of Jackie Chan for his multi lingual film, titled Nair San! Mohanlal, one of the world class actors in Indian Cinema, is going to share the screen space with Jackie in this historical film.

May be it is very hard to digest for Aaskar. But last week the director cum producer of the film Albert visited Hong Kong and handed over the complete version of Nair San to Jackie and got his approval immediately. Now Albert is waiting for Jackie's further announcement on his call sheet allotment. Albert has already proved himself as one of the best directors through his award winning film Kanne Madanguka, will be shot this film in the rare locations of Mongolia and Northern China.

According to the director, Nair San is based on a real character, Ayyapan Pillai Madhavan Nair. He studied in Model School in Thiruvananthapuram and during his school days, he got involved in the freedom struggle. He had to escape from the British and he escaped to Japan via Sri Lanka and joined the war against British imperialism.

If everything goes on the right track, the film will start on September 1 at Mongolia and Jackie Chan will attend the first day shoot also.

“It is the first ever big budgeted movie in Malayalam industry. We are going to spend nearly Rs.60 crores on this project. After knowing the importance of the subject our Superstar Mohanlal allotted 125 days call sheet to this project. Hope, everything would go well for this dream project!" says Albert hopefully.
