Sureshgopi's I.G. starts rolling

After the success of Smart City (2006), scriptwriter-turned-director B. Unnikrishnan teams up with Malayalam superstar Sureshgopi again with yet another cop film titled I.G. produced by Mahi under the banner of Super films. According to sources, I.G. has started rolling in and around Thiruvananthapuram from 29th December, 2008.

I.G. has Aashish Vidyarthi, Lakshmi, Vijayaraghavan, Jyothirmayi, Anetha, Rajan P. Dev, Govind Padmasuriya, Anil and Devan in prominent roles. Cinematography is by Shyam Dutt. M. Jayachandran is the music director while Gireesh Puthencherry pens the songs. The movie is expected to be completed in a single schedule. More details are awaited.


Currently, Sureshgopi is busy shooting debutant director Ajmal's investigative thriller Ring Tone, which is about an investigation into a series of mysterious cyanide-caused deaths in a tribal community. Sureshgopi plays the role of Ninan Koshi, the CBI officer who investigates the case. This is the first time in his career that Sureshgopi is donning the role of a CBI officer. Bala plays an important role along with Sureshgopi Telugu actress Megha Nair is the heroine.
 

Cheenti Cheenti Bang Bang on October 10

Elecom Fiesta Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. presentation, animation feature film Cheenti Cheenti Bang Bang is scheduled for release all over on October 10. The film has been directed by R. D. Mallik with Shantanu Pal as animation director. The film features voices of Ashish Vidyarthi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Asrani, Anjan Srivastva and others. Music for Cheenti Cheenti Bang Bang has been composed by Jeet and songs have been written by Nida Fazli. Singers include Shaan, Shreya Ghoshal, Kunal Ganjawala, Sudesh Bhosle and.....
