Mohanlal is a very talented actor, no doubt about it. But, for some very weird reason, when he acts in dual role, the films flop. His most recent double-role debacle was Photographer.
Another director is now getting ready to take box office risk by casting Mohanlal in dual role. The director in question is Joshy.
Uthrathadi Films is going to produce the film. Saajan is writing the film's story. Other details like the film's title and the rest of the cast will be decided in another few days. Joshy is directing another film too. SN Swamy is writing the film's screenplay.
Meanwhile, nothing much is known about the two films that Joshy had already started to work, other than, one will be with Suresh Gopi and in the another film the entire Malayalam film industry was supposed to act.
