Kavya Madhavan quits Joshi's film

In a surprising turn of events, actress Kavya Madhavan has decided to not work in the new Mammooty film Nasrani. Kavya has waited for an opportunity to come along to act with superstars Mammooty and Mohanlal. Finally, she did get an offer. Joshi was the director film and 'Nasrani' was the name of the film.

Just before shooting commenced, Kavya realized that the film has another heroine. That wouldn't have been such a shock. She further found out that she was to be the second heroine that the other actress was playing the bigger role between the two. She decided that it wasn't such a smart idea to play second fiddle to another actress.

The search is now on for a replacement. Ironically, this is the second time that an actress is walking out of a film by director Joshi. The director must be getting used to seeing his heroines quit his films. During the making of Janmam, Nayantara walked out of the film when she realized that she was going to be portrayed as a glorified extra in the film. It is Kavya's turn now.
