Jayasurya joins Prithviraj in Kangaroo

Jayasurya was last seen in the hit film Chocolate starring Prithviraj in the lead. The campus based flick by veteran filmmaker Shafi had Jayasurya playing the role of a fashion designer. Jayasurya will be sharing screen space with Prithviraj again in the upcoming film Kangaroo.

Kangaroo, by filmmaker Raj Babu, has been scripted by J. Pallasseri. Sisily Biju Kaypparedan produces the movie under the banner of Isbella Movie Tones. Kangaroo hits the theatres this Christmas, but before that, Jayasurya has another movie releasing tomorrow. What is this movie? Hareendran Enna Nishkalangan.

Hareendran Enna Nishkalangan, by director Vinayan, stars Indrajith in the title role of Hareendran. Vinayan's son Vishnu Vinayan pens the script for this film which also casts Manikuttan, Bama, Cochin Haneefa and others.

Hailesa: Comedy Thriller laced with Action

Director Thaha, who is famous for many full-fledged comedy movies like Mookkillarajyathu and Ee Parakkum Thalika, will shoot yet another comedy film titled Hailesa, starring action hero Sureshgopi in the lead. This is the second time in his career Sureshgopi teams up with Thaha. Earlier, he was featured in Thaha's debut venture Varnam.

Kurukshetra takes over the theatres by storm

Mohanlal's much-anticipated Kurukshetra, which was delayed due to the controversy between Malayalam film producers and exhibitors over releasing superstars' films in A and B class theatres, has been released on Wenesday in 114 theatres across the State. The film has fetched an opening record collection of 90 lakhs on the very first day itself, breaking the record of Mammootty's Vishu release Annan Thampi, directed by Anwar Rasheed.

Twenty:20 to grace the theatres on 24th

Veteran director Joshy's much-hyped multi-starrer Twenty:20, featuring all major Malayalam stars, is expected to grace theatres by 24th October. The movie, which will have the best of releases in more than 100 theatres, is produced and distributed by Dilip's 'Grand Production' on behalf of AMMA (The Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes) as part of a fund-raising drive.

Kurukshetra finally makes it to A class theatres

The recent controversy between producers and exhibitors in the Malayalam film industry over releasing superstars' films in A and B class theatres has been solved in a conciliation meeting between Ministers Paloli Mohammed Kutty and M.A. Baby, and the members of the film association.
