Dileep finds reel mother

Mallika Sukumaran, the real-life mother of veteran actors Indrajith Sukumaran and Prithviraj Sukumaran will reportedly be seen playing the role of Dileep"s mother in his upcoming film, Romeo.

The movie by director Rajasenan has been scripted by Rafi Mecartin who also produce the film. Vimala Raman and Samvrutha play the two female leads. While Prithviraj"s Ramzan release, Chocolate has turned out to be a hit, Dileep did not have any release during Ramzan. Dileep"s much-talked about movie, Calcutta News is slated for Deepavali release.

Dileep's hopes on Run Gopala Run

Dileep's Run Gopala Run, in which he is acting as an independent hero after the disappointing Mulla, will start shooting in the first week of September. The film, by young director Deepu Karunakaran, had run into a lot of problems right after its announcement in in March. AMMA to support directors

The Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) has finally extended its official support to all those directors who resigned from the Federation of Malayalam Cine Technicians Association (MACTA). Superstar Mohanlal, general secretary of AMMA, said that he never had any talks with MACTA or Vinayan and would support all those directors who had come out of the federation.

Dileep"s Christmas release Romeo was slated to clash with Mammootty starrer Katha Parayumbol, Mohanlal starrer Flash, and Prithviraj starrer Kangaroo, but it got the benefit of being a solo release as it was later released a week ahead of the other Christmas releases.
