Harish Raj came to lime light after he acted in Girish Kasaravalli's Kannada movies Dweepa and Tayi Saheba. Now he has produced the movie Kalakar under the banner of The Bangalore Company Pictures. Radhika Gandhi starrer movie is now all set to release this week.
Harish Raj started acting in TV serials first and later he was introduced to big screen through the movies Dweepa, Tayi Saheba. Now he is turning director-cum-producer through the movie Kalakar. Besides producing the movie, he has penned story, screenplay and directed it. He has also played a lady role in the movie.
Mungaru Male fame Pooja Gandhi's sister Radhika Gandhi, who entered Kannada films through Chikka Magaloora Chikka Mallige, has played the lead lady in the movie. Suman Ranganath has played an important role. Sudha Narasimharaju, Avinash (grand son of comedy king Narasimharaju), Rajarao, Vishva and others have acted in the movie.
Movie Kalakara has been shot in the beautiful places of Karnataka. It has Giridhar Diwan's music, which has already got lot of appreciation from the audiences. HM Ramchandra has cranked the camera and Shri (Crazy Minds) has penned the lyrics of the movie.
