Kannada movie Whistle is a remake of Tamil hit movie Pizza, which starred Vijay Sethupathi and Remya Nambeesan. The Kollywood film was made with a meagre budget and it had become one of the big hits in Tamil film industry last year.

Chiranjeevi Sarja aka Chiru has paired up with Pranitha for the first time. Prashant Raj of Love Guru fame has directed the Kannada movie. The film also features Guru Dutt and director Guruprasad of Mutta fame in the key roles.

While Joshua Sridhar has composed the music, Santhosh Pathaje has handled the cinematography. Guruprasad has penned the dialogues. Well, what all these names have to offer? Read it in the review...

Ram (Chiranjeevi Sarja) is in a live-in relationship with his girlfriend Anu played by Pranitha, who is interested in supernatural powers. The hero doesn't believe in supernatural powers, but he soon realises their presence. Firstly, things change with the unexpected pregnancy of Pranitha, which forces him to tie the knot, and then with a routine late evening delivery.

On one particular day, he goes out to deliver a pizza to a customer and returns back to the restaurant in a state of shock and apparently injured muttering his partner's name over and over again.

Director Prashanth Raj has taken the first half to build the main characters, and their romance, which is not the highlight of the movie. The real story begins with the forsaken pizza delivery which immerses audience into fears. By the end of the first half, people will be guessing the possibilities, but they will have to wait till the later half of the second half to know the truth.
