Ambara - Movie Review – A Big Letdown

Yogesh aka Loose Madha Yogesh is in for a treat for the third time this year with Ambara. The actor, who is awaiting to get a huge break in Sandalwood, after back to back failures of Bangari and Jinkemari, is trying his luck with the movie, in which he is paired opposite Bhama.

Ambara is the fourth movie of the actress Bhama in Sandalwood this year. She was previously seen in Barfi, Auto Raja and Appaiah. Ambara, which is directed by Sen Prakash, completely deals with the love story of college going youth.

Story:
Ambara deals with the concept 'Sky (Ambara) is bigger than the world (earth), and Love is bigger than the sky'. The movie starts with the love story of Ajay (Yogesh) and Arundathi (Bhama). They find difficulty to express their love as they are shy. Like every other romantic movies, here also there is an obstacle in the form of a villain played by Tilak, who will be locking horns with Ajay to win the heart of Arundathi.

Plus Points Of The Movie

Camera work of Cine-tech Soori, Abhiman Rai's music and the action scenes composed by Different Dany are the main highlight of the movie.

Yogesh

Yogesh is successful in doing the stunts, which is choreographed by Different Dany. He rocks in his style.

Bhama

Bhama has failed in every step. She is not promising as she was in Barfi and Auto Raja.

Direction

Sen Prakash, who is known personality in small screen, is the director of the movie. The influence of TV serials can be seen in his direction.

Supporting Roles

The movie is filled with the multi-talented actors in the supporting roles. Sudha Belavadi, Ramkrishna, Jai Jagadeesh, Harish Raj, Tilak and Vinayak Joshi are laudable.

Comedians

Though the movie is filled with the bunch of comedians, King of Comedy Sadhu Kokila is successful enough to make the audience laugh.

Verdict

Slow pace in the first half. Watch the movie only if you are Yogish's fan or else avoid it.
