Yuga Yugagale Saagali - Review

Still from Yuga Yugagale Saagali
Let us compliment Producer B.U.Vasanth Kumar and director Shashank Raj for being bold enough to pick two youngsters to tell a neat tale of a love story in an entertaining, yet touching manner. In these days where every other person goes for safe bets in the Box office, it is certainly commendable that Vasanth and Shashank have believed in their own script than the star value.

Yuga Yugagale Saagali does not offer anything novel or special in terms of story content. But what is poignant is the fact that the simple story has been well told on the screen. The entire artists and technical team has delivered the best in the film, though the characterisation could have been a little stronger. Shashank Raj has concentrated more on the visual content of the film and if he had put in some extra efforts for some improvement in the script, the film's quality could have still enhanced.

Hamsalekha's musical score is a strong point of the film with songs like "Maamo' and the title song already in the popular charts. Nageshwara Rao's cinemetography has aptly covered the requirements of the story and presentation.

Among the artists, it is again Anant Nag, Sharath Lohithashwa who score. Producer Vasanth Kumar who plays an important role in the film also sparkles in many sequences. New faces Yashas and Meghana have done a better job in their first film. Yashas is good in fight sequences too.

Yuga Yugagale Saagali is a must see film for Kannada film fans who are looking for a neat and sentimental film.
